Tymba
Traditional
Youth Marching Band Association - "The Traditional
Youth Marching Bands Association was formed in 1983
by a few like-minded friends who felt there was a
need for an organisation to cater specifically for
youth bands which project a traditional British
image and adopt a British Military style of drill."
Byba
British Youth Band Association - "The first Youth
Marching Band Contest in Britain was held at
Hornchurch in Essex on 11th September 1943. Since
that date the activity has developed greatly, and in
1974 Glen Carter and others founded the British
Youth Band Association (BYBA)."
Sandhurst &
District Corps of Drums
"It is very hard to believe how far we have come in
a very short space of time. Although I may have had
the vision to start the Corps of Drums, I could
never have achieved what has been achieved without
the support of Kevin Hayward and Medina Marching
Band." Medina Marching Band is proud to support
Mark, Rose and the dedicated team behind Sandhurst &
District Corps of Drums.
